Another shot got published!

Nikon D3s, Lens 24-70 f2.8, focal 24mm

Black-and-white brings glass and reflective surfaces to life, because the emphasis is now on the light and not the colours. This

can be especially useful if you’re shooting under artificial light or in mixed daylight and indoor lighting. Black-and-white ‘unifies’ mixed colours and gets rid of the problem!

Eric says, “The quality and the angle of the lighting behind the glasses was my inspiration for this shot. A single spotlight was shining on the stem of the glass, creating a nice frontal shadow and attractive reflections. I use lightning on almost every shot I take, but luckily I had my Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8, so I was able to shoot using the natural lighting on its own – I didn’t have to use flash.”
